Since returning to the standard volume/intensity relationship
(which I really effectively abolished by trying to do both intensity and volume
for both bench and press in the one week; a pretty stupid idea really) I
already feel much stronger and am looking bigger again. It just shows how much
you should trust your own instincts and judgements and listen to your body.
It also shows that more is not always better and just because you can do more, doesn't mean that should do more.
A very easy close grip PR, could have got 7 or 8. Save that
for another day.
