When I awoke this morning, I knew I was going to pull 4 plates for 8. The thing is, I was so
fucking amped this afternoon after a day at work, I very easily could have
pulled it for 10. Heck, I probably could have pulled it for 12.
I live for afternoons like today. People around me talk
about looking for “fulfilment” and “meaning” in their lives. You can literally
see the desperate longing in their eyes. And when they ask me what I live for
and I tell them “my next PR”, they just don’t get it.
Fulfillment? Meaning? Turn up, day in, day out, do every little thing right, understand that you can always work harder and then ride the intense highs when it all pays off.
