- SSB Box Squat: 130 x 3 x 5
- Weighted Neutral Grip Chin: 30 x 3 x 6

- Conditioning: Prowler 10 x 20m trips with 100kg in 10:00

Comments: 

Very happy with my bench. This was my 1RM for 5 singles, with the first being a bit slow as usual and the last being a bit of a grind, but the other 3 felt strong. 

I rolled the dice on the deadlift and made a 5kg jump to pull 5 plates. Next I have to do it without straps and the best way to do that is to continue driving my strapped deadlift up. Speaking of grip, I was reading that grip can be overtrained very easily and I’m pretty sure the farmers walk on Wednesday fried my grip quite a bit, as today my grip was fucked. So I might have to save the farmers for Friday’s after deadlifting only.

  1. Fucking 7 more KG till 5 hunge! You must be close to 2/3/4/5 this year?

    Any reason why you want to pull it without straps? I personally came to the conclusion that I'm sticking with straps unless I want to compete. Bicep rupture would put me out of work and that would be stupid on my part. Of course there is other injuries, but this one is totally avoidable.

    Still doing KSC programming?

    1. Yeah only 7kg till 500, but I don't know if I'll get there in a straight line from here, at least not without a bit of a deload. We'll see what happens. I'm probably about 10lb away from a 200lb press, still a good 20-30 from a 300 bench and I'm a long way from a 400 squat considering I can't even squat at the moment!

      I guess I feel like with straps just isn't quite as legitimate, you know what I mean? And I would like to compete one day. If I didn't have such short fingers I don't think I'd even need them at all. At the end of the day I agree with you though, with straps or without, just pull big!

      In terms of programming, I'm just running a volume/intensity setup for my bench, pressing on Wednesday's using a 3x5 then 3x3 then back to 3x5 type thing and have just been progressing 3s then 2s and now 1s for my dead. So no, not doing KSC's personal programming but following his TM ideas.
